முந்தித் தானே முளைத்தானை, மூரி வெள்ஏறு ஊர்ந்தானை,அந்திச் செவ்வான் படியானை, அரக்கன் ஆற்றல் அழித்தானை,சிந்தை வெள்ளப்புனல்ஆட்டிச் செஞ்சொல்மாலை அடிச் சேர்த்தி,“எந்தைபெம்மான், என் எம்மான்” என்பார் பாவம் நாசமே!

Transliteration

Munthith thane muLaithaanai, moori veLYeRu ooringthaanai,

Anthis sevvaan pathiyaanai, arakkan aaTRal azhiththaanai,

Sinthai veLLappunal aattich chen-sol-maalai adi seeriththi,

“YENTHAI PEM-MAAN, YEN YEM-MAAN” enpaaru paavan naasame!

Meaning

The LORD (Shiva) Who Appeared before everything else;

The LORD Who Rides a White Bull;

The LORD Whose Body shines as the evening red sky;

The LORD Who Destroyed the arrogance of Ravana;

we Bathe The LORD with the love overflowing from our hearts, singing His Praises – we say “My FATHER, My LORD, MY MASTER” and thus our sins vanish/get ruined/disappear/get destructed!
