Bren Esports has announced that its Valorant roster consisting of Jessie Cristy "JessieVash" Cuyco, Jayvee "Dubstep" Paguirigan, Jim "BORKUM" Timbreza, Kevin "Dispenser" Te, and Riley "witz" Go decided to leave the team.
Philippines-based esports organization Bren said the squad has "decided to explore and review other possible opportunities." It also added that the organization respects their decision.
This official announcement was posted on their official Facebook page on September 8, 2021, just days after the squad missed out on participating in the upcoming 2021 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Stage 3 Masters tournament in Berlin, Germany, due to visa issues.
Bren Esports qualified for the 2021 VCT Masters Berlin after beating Singapore's Paper Rex in the VCT SEA Playoffs on August 22.
Paper Rex will be the only team representing the Southeast Asian region on the 2021 VCT Masters Berlin.
