MIR4 Jan 25 Patch: Sanctuary of Hydra, CAPTCHA, new equipment, more

NFT MMORPG MIR4 has released its January 25 patch, bringing several updates like Sanctuary of Hydra, CAPTCHA verification system, new equipment, new monster summoning item, new Epic Spirit, and more. New Conquest: Sanctuary of Hydra

The new conquest "Sanctuary of Hydra" is available to characters that have reached level 60.

Septaria, vital materials required to refine HYDRA, will be obtainable by unlocking and upgrading the Sanctuary of Hydra conquest. It can be collected once per day.

The number of Septaria claimable increases with the conquest stage level.

• Lv.1 (Lv.60) -> 1
• Lv.2 (Lv.65) -> 2
• Lv.3 (Lv.70) -> 5
• Lv.4 (Lv.75) -> 6
• Lv.5 (Lv.80) -> 7
• Lv.6 (Lv.85) -> 10
• Lv.7 (Lv.90) -> 11
• Lv.8 (Lv.95) -> 12
• Lv.9 (Lv.100) -> 15
• Lv.10 (Lv.110) -> 16
• Lv.11 (Lv.120) -> 17
• Lv.12 (Lv.130) -> 20

• Lv.14 (Lv.150) -> 22
• Lv.15 (Lv.160) -> 25

The Septaria reward will reset daily at 00:00 (UTC+8). Septaria that have not been claimed will be removed from the daily reset.

CAPTCHA Verification System

The latest patch implemented CAPTCHA Verification System. Players must first be verified through CAPTCHA before logging into the game.

If verification has failed three consecutive times, players must wait 30 minutes before retrying.

New Equipment: Secondary Weapon and Earrings

Two new types of equipment were added, including Secondary Weapons and Earrings.

• Secondary Weapon (Class-specific) and Accessories (General) were added.
• Players can craft Secondary Weapons in the Craft tab using a special crafting material known as Dragon Claw.
• Players can also craft Accessories in the Craft tab using a special crafting material known as Dragon Eye.

The Secondary Weapons for each class are as follows.

• Warrior - Dagger
• Sorcerer - Fan
• Taoist - Fly-Whisk
• Lancer - Hand Polearm (Short Polearm)
• Arbalist - Quiver

The Equipment menu was changed to accommodate two additional equipment types.

• Equipment slots were increased by 2 (from 8 to 10)
• New equipment types were displayed through the auto-equip pop-up
• Equipment Craft menu was adjusted to include additional equipment types
• Forsaken Badge tab was added to the "Other Combination" menu

Six (6) new missions were added to acquire Dragon Claw and Dragon Eye.

Boss Summoning

The latest update brings a new monster summoning item called Forsaken Badge, and it can be crafted and used to summon a new boss monster.

Forsaken Badge can be crafted using Forsaken Shard and Purified Soul Stone. Forsaken Shard can be obtained through drops by defeating monsters. Meanwhile, Purified Soul Stone can be obtained through unsealing Spirit Treasure Box, Enhancement Stone Box, Treasure Box, or via Treasure Chests that drop from summoned bosses.

Each Forsaken Badge has a designated summoning location that summons different boss monsters. Players can collect Dragon Claw and Dragon Eye by defeating boss monsters.

New Epic Spirit: Brutal Lionheart Koiga

Epic Forest-type Spirit "Brutal Lionheart Koiga" has a passive bonus of 20 PHYS ATK once summoned.

Here are Brutal Lionheart Koiga's skills and effects:

• Natural Hunter - Monster ATK DMG Boosts by 12%, Monster DMG Reduction by 12%, and ALL DMG Reduction by 10%.
• Lessons of the Wild - Hunting EXP Gain increases by 15%, and Lucky Drop Chances by 10%. Energy Gathering Time accelerates by 10%.
• Law of the Jungle - After defeating an enemy, CRIT increases by 2, PHYS ATK by 2, and Spell ATK by 2 for 30 sec (Maximum 50 stacks)

New Token: HYDRA

HYDRA is part of the MIR4's Seoul Spooning 2022 event, a legislative proposal to evolve the blockchain functionality of DRACO into the GameFi space. It is specially designed to prevent bots and abusers from obtaining necessary materials as well as protect the assets and rights of MIR4's three gaming spheres, Holders, Earners, and Players.

The HYDRA token is a refined version of the DRACO coin that can be produced by combining DRACOs and Septaria through the new "Refinery" menu. HYDRA Refinery system can be found under the XDRACO menu.

HYDRA is refined using 20 DRACOs as the base material, along with the specified amount of DRACOs and Septaria required as the "Refining Fee."

The variable cost of the Refining Fee calculated via the Metamorphic Stage will determine the number of Septaria and DRACOs required to refine 1 HYDRA. Metamorphic Stage will be updated daily at 00:00 UTC+8.

The amount of HYDRA that can be refined is unlimited. Note that refined HYDRA can't be converted back into DRACOs.

"Sanctuary of Hydra" is a new area where special monsters can be summoned.

Bug fixes and gameplay improvements

• The menu has been updated to reflect the addition of HYDRA Refinery.
• The menu for Create/Seal NFT character has been modified.
• The new patch resolved an issue where the direction of the character 'Evade' was inconsistent with the direction of the player during battle.
• The Bloodshade Nefariox Horn mystery's description has been changed.
• The Wrapped Rare/Epic Darksteel Box description has been updated.
• The number of Identification Scrolls acquired from different grades of Sealed Boxes has changed.
• The chance of unsealing a Sealed Box being upgraded to a higher-grade Sealed Box has been adjusted.
