Free Fire MCP Majors Season 3 sets USD 70K prize pool

Garena has officially announced that Free Fire MCP Majors is returning for its third season in February 2022 with a USD 70,000 prize pool.

Registration for the tournament's In-game Qualifiers will be open to players in the Malaysia, Cambodia, and Philippines (MCP) region, starting this Friday, February 18, 5 PM GMT+8. Interested players must meet the requirements of at least Level 20 and have Platinum 1 rank in Battle Royale mode.

Registered teams will then square off on February 20 from 1 PM to 6 PM. Players interested in joining the competition need to register beforehand to secure a spot in the games.

The teams advancing to the Qualifier Finals will be joined by familiar pro teams such as Eva Radicals and Govilam Wews, who received direct invites from the last locally exclusive tournament - Free Fire Challengers Philippines (FFCP). Following that, the Qualifier Finals will select which 18 teams will advance to the League Circuit to vie for a slot in the Grand Finals.

The winning teams from previous competitions - Vete Esports, the FFCP champion title winner, and Blacklist International, the MCP Majors Season 2 champion - will advance directly to the Grand Finals. The teams that have been invited directly will be disclosed at a later date.

As with prior seasons, the Free Fire MCP Majors Season 3 will choose the MCP region's representative squad for the forthcoming international FFWS in May 2022, giving local and regional teams the opportunity to compete among elite players from around the world.
