Xiaomi-led brand Redmi has unveiled Redmi K50 Gaming, the first device in the highly anticipated Redmi K50 lineup and the successor to the K40 Gaming from last year. Qualcomm's latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset powers the new gaming phone. Additionally, it is the first smartphone in the Xiaomi and Mercedes-AMG F1 team partnership to feature a special limited edition phone donning the racing team's badge and colors.

The limited-edition Mercedes AMG F1 version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will retail for CNY 4,199(~USD 662). In China, sales began on February 18. Pricing and availability for international markets have not yet been revealed.
