1,Ranadh  kshudra ganta ninadha abiramam,

Chalathanda  vothanda  vath padma  thalam,

Lasad thunthilangopari   vyala haram,

Ganadheesa  meesana   soonum thameede

1.I praise   the leader of the Ganas   who is the son of Lord Shiva,

Who gets pleased with the sound  of bells all e round his body,

Whose  lotus like feet  is moving  the male dance  according to the beats,

And who has   a shining garland of snake   around his belly

2,Dwani dwamsa  veena layollasi vakthram,

Sphurad chundadandolaasad bheeja pooram,

Galadharpa sougandhanya lolaali malam,

Ganadheesa meesana soonum thameede

2. I praise   the leader of the Ganas   who is the son of Lord Shiva,

Whose face appears  joyful hearing   the   musical sound of Veena,

Who has a   shining   broken trunk   and a temple,

And   who is wearing a  garland of scented flowers with proud bees  flying around .

3. Prakasa japaraktha rathna  prasoona ,

Pravala prabhatharuna jyothirekam,

Pralambotharam vakra  thundaika dantham,

Ganadheesa meesana soonum thameede

3. I praise   the leader of the Ganas   who is the son of Lord Shiva,

Who during the red light   of the early   morning,

Is  shining like the red ineer  shoots of the china rose,

Who has a  huge  round paunch and a  broken trunk of an elephant

4.Vichithra sphurad rathna malaa kireedam,

Kiredollasad Chandra rekha vibhoosham,

Vibhooshaika  boosham  bhava  dwamsa hethum,

Ganadheesa meesana soonum thameede

4. I praise   the leader of the Ganas   who is the son of Lord Shiva,

Who is wearing  shining gem studded garland and crown,

Whose forehead  being decorated by the streaks of  shining moon,

Who is the decoration to the decorations and is the cause of destruction of the world.

5.Udanjath buja vallaree  drusya  moolo,

cHalad brullathaa vibrama braja daksham,

Marud sundaree chamarai sevya maanam,

Ganadheesa meesana soonum thameede

5. I praise   the leader of the Ganas   who is the son of Lord Shiva,

Who has   lifted hands which look like   creepers,

Who has moving eye brows and  is  rapturous  glittering  and wise .

And  who   is served by pretty ladies fanning chowries

6.Sphurad nishtooraa  lola  pingakshi   tharam,

Krupa komale   thara leelavatharam,

Kala bindhugam  geeyathe  yogi varyai,

Ganadheesa meesana soonum thameede

6. I praise   the leader of the Ganas   who is the son of Lord Shiva,

Who has a shining   rough  moving  toungue, who has yellow corner of the eyes,

Who due to his mercy , take a   pretty incarnation due to sport,

And who  is praised  by  great yogis  by   songs.

7.Yamekaksharam   nirmalam  nirvikalpam,

Gunatheetha mananda   makara soonyam,

Param   paramonkara mamnaya garbham,

Vadanthi prakalpam  puranam thameede

7. I praise   the  creator of illusions   and very ancient  ,

Who is the start of universe, pure  and not  altered by anything,

Who is above  characters , cheerful   and   without any form,

Who is divine  , the divine Om  and one having  Vedas within him.

8.Chidananda sandraya  santhaya thubhyam,

Namo Viswa karthesa , harthesa  thubhyam,

Namo anantha leelaaya kaivalya base  ,

Namo viswa bheeja praseedhesa soono.

8.You are the  peaceful one  who is  the dense divine bliss,

You   are the creator of the world and also   the  destroyer,

Salutations to the one with endless sports  gives salvation and shines,

Salutations   to the  seed of the world, Oh God , be pleased with me.

9.Imam susthavam   Prathar uthaya   bhakthya  ,

Padithasthu marthyo  labeth sarva kaaman,

Ganesa prasadena sidhyathi   vacho,

Ganese  Vibhou   durlabham  kim prasanne.

9, Those  men who get up early morning   and  with devotion,

Read  this  prayer  would get fulfillment of all their desires,

Due to the grace of Ganesa , they would get speaking skill,

And there   is nothing that is impossible to get  from a pleased Lord Ganesa.
