Identity V "Call of the Abyss IV" tournament details, rewards

NetEase Games launched the fourth Global Festival, "Call of the Abyss IV," of its popular asymmetrical competition mobile game, Identity V, on January 14, 2021. This event is a top-tier esports competition that gathers players worldwide to battle it out and prove their strength.

The Call of the Abyss tournament is available to players in the six competing divisions, including Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and NA-EU. The competition brings several generous in-game rewards. Some event rewards include Fragment, Clues, Essence, Accesory, Portait, Pet, and Team Badge.

The competition comprises four different stages: Garden Corridor, Snow Mountain, Wintry Harbor, and Top Speed. The players from each region will form their clubs and compete against one another to grab a Grand Finals spot.

Garden Corridor

Warm-Up stage: January 14-15, 2021

Club Captains can register their team for the Global Festival for free. Once registered, Club Members can participate in the Global Festival when it starts (all members from the Summer IVC Japan, Fall IVC Japan, and IVC Southeast Asia Champions must be in the same Club).

Snow Mountain

Top 50 stage: January 15-28, 2021

This stage marks the commencement of the event. Different Global Festival exclusive rewards await registered Club Members during the competition. There will also be a new contest-themed Abyss Treasure to be revealed. Participating members will earn Global Festival Points that determine their ranking in this competition stage. The more matches they compete, and the better results they have, the more Global Festival Points will earn. Only the Top 50 Clubs from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and NA-EU will advance to the next stage.

Wintry Harbor

Top 8 stage: January 28 - February 4, 2021

The Wintry Harbor stage will be available after the game maintenance on January 28, 2021. In this stage, the top 50 clubs will compete for Wintry Harbor Points. Each division's top 8 non-invited Clubs will receive more rewards and be qualified for the Online Qualifiers.

Top Speed

COA IV Grand Finals: February 4, 2021

Top Speed is the competition's final stage. Here the top clubs will go head-to-head once more to determine a champion. Participating teams in the Grand Finals will share the prize pool of 463 thousand USD (may fluctuate due to exchange rates).
