Lenovo PH launches M2 Electric Scooter, priced at P19,995

Lenovo Philippines has officially launched its first-ever electric scooter, the M2 Electric Scooter. This latest e-scooter from Lenovo will be available in the Philippines starting March 27, 2021.

The Lenovo M2 Electric Scooter is powered by a 350W motor and 7.5Ah high-capacity battery with a speed of 25 km/h that can travel up to 30 km in one full charge. It also sports an intelligent battery management system that protects the battery against common problems facing electric vehicles: short-circuiting, extreme temperatures, overcharge, over-discharge, and overcurrent.

To lessen riders' hand fatigue, especially on longer drives, it has a cruise control function that enables the scooter to maintain and control constant acceleration and speed while moving since riders won't have to keep pressing the acceleration button. It also supports speed shifting that allows it to change gears quickly.

There's also an LED screen in the handle that displays important details. Riders can refer to it to track parameters like speed, mileage, battery capacity, and gear used. It also has Bluetooth support and can be operated via a mobile app, enabling riders to connect the scooter to other devices or accessories.

The Lenovo M2 Electric Scooter is installed with a triple-brake and triple-damping system for added protection and comfort on the road. In addition to its electronic brake that cuts the motor's power, the scooter also has a disc and pedal brake for added safety against unexpected accidents. Meanwhile, its triple-damping system (hidden shock absorption, spring shock absorption, and honeycomb tire shock absorption) smooths out any bumps, ensuring complete comfort and stability on the road.

When it comes to design, the Lenovo M2 electric scooter features a front-folding design built using a magnesium alloy, weighing only 15 kg. The electric scooter can handle up to 120 kg of max load. It also has an IP54 rating that makes the scooter waterproof and dustproof.

With dimensions of just 1115mm x 1115mm x 515mm, the M2 Electric Scooter is portable and compact, suitable to fit in almost any parking spot. Riders can also fold the scooter under three seconds with its one-step folding mechanism. The M2 Electric Scooter is more compact when folded, measuring 1130mm x 503mm x 515mm, making it easier to carry.

The Lenovo M2 Electric Scooter has an official price of PHP 19,995. It will be available at official resellers and Exclusive Stores nationwide from March 27.
