MPL PH Season 8 starts August 27; see schedule, game format

Moonton has announced that its recently postponed MPL PH Season 8 will resume on August 27, 2021 (Friday).

MLBB Professional League (MPL) PH S8 was initially scheduled to begin on August 13 and conclude in October. However, it was delayed due to the NCR lockdown implemented from August 6 to 20, brought by the COVID-19 cases spike.

With the return of MPL PH Season 8, eight teams will be competing for a share of USD 150,000 (around PHP 7.6 million) total prize pool and MPL PH S8 championship title. The regular season will run from August 27 until October 10, 2021.
