Antutu has revealed the Global Top 10 Best Performing Flagship and Midrange Phones for August 2021. ZTE's Snapdragon 888-powered Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro topped the flagship division. On the other hand, Snapdragon 778G-based Realme GT Master dominated the mid-range category.

According to Antutu, the smartphones covered in the Top 10 best-performing Android smartphones for August 2021 must have at least 1,000 phones operating Antutu V9 from August 1 to August 31, 2021. The average score was then calculated for the top 10 list for flagship and mid-range departments.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 888-powered smartphones have continued to dominate the flagship department. The Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro topped the charts, scoring an average of 837,506 points. The device highlights 16GB RAM+ 256GB internal storage, 165Hz screen refresh rate, and a built-in cooling fan for heat dissipation.

Asus ROG Phone 5 has reinstated its second-place June 2021 ranking. It garnered an average Antutu score of 817,404 points. Meanwhile, the previous month's second placer, Realme GT, came third place, with an average score of 816,743 points.

The former topper iQOO 7 landed the fourth spot posting 814,662 points. The following six smartphones in the rankings are the OnePlus 9 Pro, Sony Xperia 1 III 5G, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11, Mi 11i, and Asus Zenfone 8 Mini.

Snapdragon 778G-powered Realme GT Master ranked first place with an average Antutu score of 539,072 points. Snapdragon 778G chipset is the updated version of Snapdragon 780G and is built on TSMC's 6nm node, bringing an 8-core Kryo 670 CPU with a max frequency of 2.4GHz.

Previous midrange topper Snapdragon 780G-powered Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G came second place, posting 524,133 points. Honor 30 grabbed the third spot scoring 450,879 points.

Following them are the Huawei Nova 7, Oppo Reno6 5G, Huawei Nova 7 SE, Realme 7 5G, Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, Mi 10T Lite 5G, and Realme X7 5G.
