Astracraft, a sandbox mech combat game from NetEase Games, launches a new "5v5" Capture Point mode. The new game mode and its contents can be played starting February 5, 2021.
A New Competitive Mode
Asteroid Base, the first official map of Capture Point, is now live. It is a bigger map with more complex terrain. Players can form teams of 5 to fight with up to 10 ARMS in Capture Point Mode. To gain control, they can enter the 3 Capture Zones on the map. It will be possible for the team that controls the Capture Zones to gather Energy. The first team to reach 100% Energy wins!
New Modules
- "Big Guy" Heavy Core: High mobility core with a Monopod and a massive 2x2x2 size, this core has higher durability and can temporarily defend against all damage.
- "Benefactor" Repair Kit Storage Unit: In King of the Hill Mode, first use will absorb surrounding Repair Kits. Release again to Quick Repair a selected teammate's ARMS.
- Glider: Expands after use; allows ARMS to glide and turn in the air.
- "Thousand Mirror" Copier: Ultra skill module. Players can use it on any ARMS to transform into the target ARMS for a period with access to all of the target's skills.
- "Wolfpack" Group Optical Cloak: Ultra skill module. Turn on to cloak the player and teammates in the vicinity.
5v5 Events
Prize events, including Elite Squad, 5v5, Roulette Game coming into session simultaneously. Players can get a chance to get prizes like new cores, modules, decals, avatars, frames, and skins.
- Elite Squad: Players can create a team of 5 with their friends and win three Capture Point games to get "Big Guy" Heavy Core!
- Theme Mission: 4 Theme Missions will become available each week. Completing the missions in Capture Point will earn you Fire Diamonds and Star Coins.
- Roulette Game: Use Fire Diamonds to play and win 5v5 theme limited skins. Players can obtain all rewards from the Roulette within 40 plays! In place of repeated rewards, players will receive Broken Crystals. They can spend Broken Crystals to get unobtained things at Redeem Reward. With remaining Fire Diamonds and Broken Crystals, players can redeem Sourcestones of equal value.
Hatchery - Share your moments
Players can share ARMS, parties, pictures, videos, and large numbers of content. They can copy shared ARMS to the Garage and try out shared parties.
Players can find updates from followed players on the "Followed" screen, find posts from players around the world on "What's New," and discover popular content on "Trending." They can show their support to their favorite players by likes and comments and follow their accounts to get updates.
The "Hatchery" event will begin for players to post and gain fans as well. An ample reward will be won by the 100 players with the most fans.
