Globe reopens 99% of its Stores nationwide
Globe announced that 99% of its Stores nationwide have reopened. All Globe Stores nationwide are now operational, except for one store located at the TGT headquarters in BGC. A total of 196 Globe Stores are available to serve customers and handle concerns that need personal or face-to-face interaction.
During the start of the pandemic in March last year, Globe Stores were closed following the lockdowns set by IATF as a way to slow the spread of COVID-19.
When the government relaxed restrictions, Globe began opening select Stores with skeletal workforces in May 2020. This action was part of Globe's commitment to serving its customers' mobile and internet needs.
Bernie Llamzon, Globe EVP and Head of Channel Management, said, "We have a superior in-Store experience that we've built throughout the years. With the easing up of the quarantine restrictions and the returning foot traffic, we deemed it necessary to reopen as many Globe Stores as possible to serve our customers. We also continue to observe government health protocols to keep everyone in the premises safe from COVID-19."
The Globe Stores offer assistance for concerns including postpaid applications, postpaid plan renewal, reactivation of terminated accounts, device pick-up, myBusiness applications, and prepaid products, among others.
Customers may go to the nearest Globe Store for after-sales concerns such as change of ownership, SIM change or upgrade, device return or replacement and reconnection of accounts, and unbarring requests. Globe Stores may also accommodate bills payment and GCash cash-in.
In compliance with the government-mandated safety protocols, selected Globe Stores will only entertain transactions by appointment to prevent overcrowding. Customers can book an appointment online and check the list of Globe Stores through https://www.globe.com.ph/stay-safe-at-home/stores.html.
